This blog is dedicated to all things simple, old, serene, classical, and romantic. It is an attempt to recapture the simplicity of days gone by, when happiness could be found in simply lying in the grass and writing poetry. In honor of the years that came before us, and in hope of reclaiming a bit of their simplicity, I dedicate "That We Were Butterflies." WELCOME!

"Was it a vision, or a waking dream? Fled is that music - do I wake or sleep?" ~ John Keats
I enjoy being alive, and I want others to enjoy being alive. That's all you need to know, really - all else stems from that. I am obsessed with life: with living life; with breathing, seeing, learning, loving, and understanding; with hoping, wishing, wanting, and waiting. I think Shakespeare's "paragon of animals" exists; meaning, I truly believe that animals are spiritually closer to God than is Man. However, I hope to gather a bit of that raw spiritual essence by connecting with nature through religion and earth magic. And through Walt Whitman, John Keats, William Blake, and all the poetry, music, art, literature, and beauty that this world reveals to me. ___________________________________
